VICTORIA HOUGH

I'm Victoria Hough, a Leeds-based contemporary abstract artist inspired by the world around me, not only Yorkshire but everywhere I go, from punchy urban backdrops to countryside vistas to stretches of open beach. My work is created using acrylics to produce bold compositions using organic gestures and a vibrant, uplifting palette. By layering colours and transparencies, I aim to create pieces that explore movement, depth and contrast and remain interesting to look at over and over again.
